About Us

My name is Rachel Lucas and I am privileged to share my home with two phenomenal dogs, Kiva and Pike. Pike is a 5 year old Shetland Sheepdog who actively competes in the highest level of obedience, conformation, and weight pulling. Kiva is a 2 year old Alaskan Malamute who competes in obedience, agility, conformation, and weight pulling. I am an active member of the AMCA (Alaskan Malamute Club of America) and a member of the Minnesota Alaskan Malamute Rescue Club. I have fostered and found homes for many dogs throughout the years. In addition to these clubs I teach competition obedience in Eden Prairie and have work as a Veterinary Technician for the past 9 years. I completed my B.A. degree in Biology from Hamline University. My extensive background in the medical field has allowed me to provide excellent attentive care for all pets, including those with special needs.
